Affecting Server - Alastor | Priority - Critical
Our monitors have detected a hard drive has dropped from the RAID array on your server, Alastor, and performance is degraded as a result.
We attempted to rebuild the drive so it syncs with the array but this failed. At this time we are rebooting the server into the RAID bios to attempt a drive initialization. If this succeeds we will investigate replacing the RAID controller as it seems to have caused multiple errors and faults in recent months.
Update: The drive is still showing errors after reboot. We will be replacing the drive, RAID controller and all cabled. A maintenance window will be announced shortly.
Update: The hardware is now being replaced
Update: The server is now back up and the RAID is rebuilding.
Update: The rebuild is complete and the RAID is optimal.
